This Website has been designed to comply with the laws of the State of Nevada and of the United States. If any material contained within the Website, or any of your use of the Website, violates the laws of the location where you are when you access the Website, the Website is not intended for your use, and we ask that you refrain from using the Website. You are fully responsible for informing yourself of the laws of your jurisdiction and complying with them.
Disputes
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to our Website or to products purchased here shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, if you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate our intellectual property rights, we may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Nevada. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Any arbitration under these Terms of Use shall be conducted under the prevailing rules of the American Arbitration Association.
The arbitrators award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration with respect to the Website or to products purchased here shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
Much of what is given here as a notice of our procedures is because of the distribution companies we use and their rules and procedures.
We ship only to the address you put on your order form.
All books are shipped by United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail only. Priority Mail is the fastest and most secure shipping method. We have shipped thousands of books with less problems than you can count on the fingers of one hand with this method. You should have your books within two to four days of you ordering them, excluding Sunday delivery and distribution center processing.
We cannot ship overnight express or to anywhere outside the 50 United States. We love our military, but you’ll have to have parents, a spouse or friends buy and send you a set, the distribution companies we use are not set up to ship to APOs.
Civil Defense Manual books are sold only in a shrink-wrapped set of two, Volume I and Volume II together. We do not have the capability of selling or shipping individual volumes and cannot do so.
You must ensure that you have a secure and big enough USPS mail box or a trusted person or place to leave the books, or this may delay your receipt of the books.
Refunds
If USPS gives us a delivery confirmation to the address you provided in your order, your books are considered delivered. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a secure place of receipt as per USPS guidelines for a USPS Medium Flat Rate Priority Mail box (11 ½” long by 9” wide by 6” deep) so you can successfully receive your books. Thank you for ordering the Civil Defense Manual. Prepare.
If you do not receive your books within 30 days from the date of your order and we can verify this through non-delivery by the United States Postal Service, we will refund your money at your request. Books damaged during shipping will be replaced subject to you returning the books to the distributor at PSSC, 660 South Mansfield Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197.
Entire Agreement and Admissibility
These Terms of Use and any policies or operating rules posted on the Website constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and JNM Media CDM LLC with respect to the subject matter thereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between yourself and JNM Media CDM LLC with respect to such subject matter.
